When Kate finished second grade, we decided to start a mother/daughter book club.  I researched reasons and ways to start such a group and sent out letters to a few other moms & daughters.  We've grown larger and smaller over the years with as many as eight mom/daughters and as little as five.  We have read a diverse selection of subject matter and difficulty levels and have had great discussions.
